This is why I used to drive Volvo's! They are built like tanks, the old ones are rear wheel drive and the Swedish know how to build something that will last.
Check out the video after the jump and look at the massive beating this car endures!
There is something about an AMG bullying cops in the morning...
Just woke up, found this in my inbox, feeling motivated times two right now! There is something about the raw noise an AMG's torque-y V8 produces the minute you even look at the throttle, the deep brutal roaring often combined with thick white smoke off the rear tires is really something else. This Swedish bloke sure knows how to appreciate it, he likes to take it on long drives through Germany while looking for innocent Police Officers to harass... wait... what?
Thanks to the hot blonde throwing this link, she knows what I like!
A little speed wobble on a superbike at 275km/h
"Take your place in time, This is where you want to be, Don’t look beyond today's horizons, Free your mind completely"... Fitting lyrics to go with the images of Guy Martin experiencing a little speed wobble at 275km/h while exiting a small town road's bend. Breathtakingly beautiful and scary as hell at the same time but maybe that's what's fascinating about it? "This life is what we make it..."
LB Performance's Sema 2013 experience
"Something that moves the heart of those who see it..."
There is no better way to describe these creations, the GT-R Works and 458 Works are despite the criticism, truly breathtaking machines.
Both are low, mean and wide thanks to Liberty Walk's (wide-)body kits... did I mention they are wide? I mean, racing car wide... And with an exhaust system provided by Armatrix they are loud, and may spit a few flames...
Can you do a burnout in a tracked truck?
Yes... You can!
Gallardo Nera sets new standing mile record at 20.8 seconds!
The first bet between two key players in the Unlim 500+ proved to be too easy, and the 25K $ exchanged hands that same day. So the stakes were raised: the first one to complete the standing mile run in less than 21 seconds would get 100K $... 100 000 Dollars... December 22, that time was broken by this monster of a twin turbo Lamborghini Gallardo Nera LP570-4 Superleggera, born in 2005 but completely reborn earlier this year with a single purpose: Getting 1850 horsepower from the flywheel to the ground and making it hook!
Daily Driven Ex-Le Mans Racers
I'd heard of earlier-years Le Mans cars converted to daily drivers, and I've seen many of the notorious highway videos that come out of Japan, but the thought of owning one of these machines is already more than my mind can comprehend, let alone using it... every single day... on public roads...
This is something else.
Swiss in Flight
A small compilation of the machines and moves of the Swiss Air Force, looks like they are as good at flying as they are at acting neutral!
Could you use a Lamborghini Aventador to roast a turkey?
Yes... you could!
How Red Bull Racing celebrates: Seven Star Spin
Red Bull Racing wanted to do something a bit special to celebrate their winning of this years Formula One Drivers and Constructors Championships, so they decided to have one of their cars do donuts on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, about 210 meters above the ground. That is one hell of an altitude to floor around 800 horses and pray they keep spinning you in a circle instead of shooting you over the edge! Luckily for driver David Coulthard, the team really knows what they are doing as the "making-of"-video shows, also posted after the jump! They call it "The Seven Star Spin" as a reference to the hotel's claimed seven star rating.
